This Privacy Policy explains how Mortise & Main LLC, doing business as Boltstrike (“Boltstrike,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Boltstrike application and website at boltstrike.app (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored in hashed form).
• Estimate & project data. Information you enter into the Service, such as project details, cost codes, line items, client names, and proposal content.
• Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles and secures payment details. We receive limited billing data such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card.
• Usage & device data. We use Google Analytics to collect standard analytics such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Communications. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to respond and provide support.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the Service; process subscriptions and payments; send transactional emails (account, billing, and password resets) through our email provider, Resend; respond to support requests; improve and secure the Service; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate Boltstrike:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — database and account hosting
• Netlify — website and application hosting
• Google Analytics — usage analytics
• Resend — transactional email

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies, primarily for Google Analytics, to understand how the Service is used. You can disable cookies in your browser or opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out tools.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account and estimate data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@boltstrike.app.

6. Security

We protect your data using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, email support@boltstrike.app and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Information About Your Clients

The Service lets you store information about your own clients and projects. You are responsible for that information and for having any permission needed to enter it. We process it only to provide the Service to you.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
